It's Been Oolong Time Coming

It is now the final phase of the project. I have decided to change the music I will use for the commercial. I chose another instrumental that has less bass and a more catchy melody. I have played around in Premier Pro and did some research and tools and techniques I will use. These include, split screens, stabilizers, and color adjustments. They can be somewhat confusing and difficult to find and easily use due to Premier's complicated nature. In particular, one of the high angle tilts on one of the bottles stands out for being exceptionally shaky. After adjusting this, I added a split screen to show both of the bottles side by side. Next was the extreme close-up pan from left to right. The pan was moving at an already decent pace, but I made some slight adjustments. I then kept adding all of my clips in according to my storyboard. To summarize, we start off with the medium shot of the fruit, followed by a zoom into a long with a suspense sound effect added with the Snapple flavors. I think this adds even more emphasis to the drinks being advertised. From here, I have a high angle shot that starts on the caps of the bottle, and tilts down to capture the entire label dramatically. Then, the music drops and a pan from right to left shows the main shots of the drinks as appetizing as possible. Next, this clip is similar to the tilting shot, except it is in reverse. It is a low angle that tilts up, which I think reiterates the intro. I think this could help leave a subconscious reminder of the brands and flavors. Finally, we conclude with another low angle tilt up into the bright sky, where the screen with fade to white while showing the Snapple logo. This also helps reinforce a bright mood, write puts a positive attitude in the viewer's head.
