Second Thoughts

After some time and consideration, I was having some regrets about the song I chose. Even though I spent time researching my options with the Creative Commons license, I still think that there are more fitting choices for music. However, the licensing is the biggest drawback and heavily restricts my options. Anyways, I was researching production equipment to help me film. I am looking for a stand or tripod with lights that I can mount my phone on to shoot stable shots. I would also want the legs to move around so I could get versatile with the angles I would take the shots from. I would also need something hands free so I can capture both of my hand writing or typing as shown in the storyboard. I will also need to film in portrait and landscape. After some time, I managed to find a smartphone tripod with malleable legs. It can bend and remain stable on different surfaces. The legs can also be used to adjust the height. Another feature is the bearing for the phone mount. With this, I can tilt my camera vertically or horizontally. This function can help me with the tilts in my opening, since I will be able to have cinematic shots without shaking in all dimensions. I can also position it far away to take long shots, or bring it closer for my close ups. I also plan to turn the phone in the mount backward so I can use the more powerful rear camera on my phone. Using the correct lightings, I hope to capture extreme detail on my face, such as my pupils tracking the words on the screen. One concern I have is the microphone not being able to capture the sounds of the pencil writing on the page or the plastic keys typing. However, I think a solution to this would be to move my phone closer to get clearer audio. Afterwards, I could zoom out or use a wider angle lens to get the perceived distance of the shot.
