Filming Begins

 Jibril's house is the perfect location for our thriller/horror film. The house has a slightly eerie atmosphere, which adds to the overall feel of the movie. The house has a lot of character, with unique features that will look great on camera. The natural lighting in the house is perfect for creating suspense and shadows. The house has a lot of different rooms and spaces, allowing us to shoot a variety of scenes. The driveway of Jibril's house is particularly creepy, making it ideal for some of the more intense scenes. Jibril's house is conveniently located, making it easy for cast and crew to get to and from the location. The house is spacious enough for us to set up all of our filming equipment without feeling cramped. The house has a lot of interesting decorations and furnishings, which can add to the ambiance of the film. Jibril has given us free rein to use his house for filming, which is a huge advantage for our low-budget production. The house has a lot of potential for creative camera angles and shots. The exterior of the house is also interesting, with a lot of foliage and trees that can add to the ominous feel of the film. Our whole crew will be doing some of the filming, which will make the process run even more smoothly. The house has a lot of history, which can be incorporated into the storyline of the film. The house is relatively isolated, which will allow us to film without any distractions or interruptions. Jibril has allowed us to make some minor changes to the house to better suit our filming needs. The house has a lot of interesting nooks and crannies, which can be utilized to create a sense of claustrophobia or confinement. Filming at Jibril's house will give the film a unique, personal touch that can't be replicated in a studio or soundstage. The house has a lot of different textures and surfaces, which can add to the visual appeal of the film. Overall, filming at Jibril's house is an excellent choice for our thriller/horror film and we're excited to see how it turns out on screen.

Production and Transportation

 Although we are eager to begin working, our group has been very slow to progress. Each of us has been very busy with school and tests, leaving less time that we can all congregate to consistently film. We also have additional extracurriculars that limit the opportunities we have from meeting up together. Now this would be nearly impossible if we had to rely on our parents to drive us from place to place. It would also inconvenience everyone if we try and make a small adjustment to our schedules. Luckily, Maximus is eligible to drive and was planned drive us to our filming locations. These would include his and Jibril's houses. After this planning earlier in the year, we had expected our meeting dates to be flexible with this in mind. Unfortunately, the unexpected has constantly struck. Planning: Storyboard

Scenes 1-6 In the beginning of the film, the first shot will establish the dark setting of the scene. It will be an establishing shot that tilts on a street to show the moonlight night and a small suburban neighborhood. The next three scenes introduce the interior of the house and the victims of the killer's first crimes. Scenes 7-12 The main protagonist will come home, sensing that something is not right, and wander a quiet home. He will soon make the discovery that his family was murdered and will fill with vengeance. Scenes 13-18 The father of the family will use the police to ask for help finding the, but with no luck. After some time passes, we can still see the emotional trauma the loss has caused. We feel that this helps develop the character. Scenes 19-24 The father, now motivated to avenge his family, will recruit his friends for help and take matters in their own hands. They will find evidence that will begin a chase for the killer. Recurring Issues

Today we faced challenges during our shoot. One of the biggest challenges was getting the right shot under the right conditions.   There were times when we had to wait for the perfect lighting or weather conditions, which could take hours. Even when we had the right conditions, it could take a long time to get the perfect shot. One example of this was when we were filming a particular scene outside in the park. We had to wait for the sun to set just enough to create the desired effect, and then we had to make sure the camera was in the right position to capture the shot. It took about an hour to get just one shot under those conditions, but we knew it was worth the effort to create the desired effect. We also had to contend with other factors like noise and distractions from passersby, which could ruin a shot if not handled properly.
