Change of Plans

Unfortunately, filming still was not finished, and we realized that we needed to make some changes to our approach. After discussing our options, Jibril, Maximus, and I decided to start over and involve all members in the production process. We knew that this would be a challenge, but we were determined to create a film that we could all be proud of. Thankfully, our friend Nick came to our rescue and offered to let us use his house for filming. We were thrilled at the prospect of having access to such a unique location, and we couldn't wait to get started. Nick's parents were out of town, which meant that we had the entire house to ourselves for a day. As we walked around the house, we noticed that it had a closed floor plan. This was perfect for us, as it allowed us to use different rooms and locations without having to worry about continuity issues. We knew that we could use the common areas freely without bothering anyone, and we were excited to explore all the different spaces. One of the things that stood out to us was the lighting in the house. The windows were positioned in such a way that they let in just the right amount of natural light, creating a moody and atmospheric setting. We knew that this would be perfect for the tone of our film. We also noticed that the house had a lot of unique features that we could incorporate into our film. There was a staircase that led up to a loft area, which we thought would be perfect for a dramatic chase scene. There was also a large TV in the living room that we could use as a focal point. Despite the challenges of filming in a new location, we were excited at the prospect of being able to use such a unique space for our project. We knew that we would need to be creative and resourceful in order to make the most of our time there, but we were up for the challenge. We are thankful to Nick for opening his house. We all can tell that would be an important part of our film. Making steps in production makes us excited to see how it would all come together.
